... is administrated by the Municipalityof Rovaniemi, Finland. The project is an intensive marketing action for the newly build Santa's Technology Park at the Arctic Circle in the immediate vicinity of the Rovaniemi Airport. Santa's Technology Park is a place of expertise in creative contents. There will be content production companies such as a 3D-animation studio called Lapland studio, with motion capture technique.

The main objective of the project is to make Santa's Technology Park known among technology parks and businesses in Japan and Europe and to build international business contacts and beneficial networks between companies participating in the project and operating in the field of content production i.e. game makers, animators, cartoonists and computer graphic designers.

At the moment Creative Lapland Project has participants from following countries: Japan, France, Germany, USA and Finland.
